Chris Soules’ season of “The Bachelor” just ended, but viewers are ready to watch the next journey of love. During the “After the Final Rose” special, host Chris Harrison announced that the ABC series would be making the worst decision ever – TWO BACHELORETTE STARS DURING ONE SEASON.

“Truth is we had a really hard time deciding,” Chris Harrison teased the audience, explaining that viewers and staff were divided about who to choose. He asked the crowd if they wanted Britt or Kaitlyn -- two women Soules rejected late in his season -- to be the next star of “The Bachelorette” before he made the big announcement.

“So, here’s the thing,” he revealed. “We actually decided not to decide. For the first time in 'Bachelorette' history we’re going to have two Bachelorettes. That’s right. It’s going to be Britt and Kaitlyn. So, the 25 men on night one are going to have the ultimate say about who they think will make the best wife.”

Britt, a 27-year-old waitress from Hollywood, came out holding hands with Kaitlyn, a 29-year-old dance instructor from Vancouver, Canada. It was an odd picture, especially since the two women didn’t appear to like each other throughout the 2015 season of “The Bachelor.” Britt had told Chris early on in the season that she didn’t agree with what she considered Kaitlyn’s inappropriate behavior. Meanwhile, Kaitlyn agreed with the other girls in the house, who found Britt to be rude and fake.

“I’m super grateful,” Britt told Chris Harrison. “I think it’s an amazing opportunity. It’s more than I can comprehend. I love Kaitlyn, so we’ll just see how it goes.”

Kaitlyn added that there will be plenty of laughs and tears, and a potential joint hot tub date. However, she told fans that sharing the position with Britt wasn’t exactly what she was hoping for.

“Well, it’s not ideal,” she admitted. “Nothing against you. Just not really what I pictured.”

So, why is this the worst decision ever? We've all seen this before and it doesn't end well. In 2008, VH1 came out with a reality show called "Real Chance of Love." It was a spinoff of "Flavor of Love" and "I Love New York." The premise of the show was two brothers -- Ahmad "Real" Givens and Kamal "Chance" Givens -- with 17 women to choose from. Things got crazy because the contestants were not just fighting for one man, but two. In the season finale, Real chose to be with a woman named "Corn Fed." Chance chose to continue living his single life.

While it was confirmed that it will be up to the men to choose Britt or Kaitlyn, details on how the 2015 season of "The Bachelorette" will work are not clear. Right now it's uncertain if both women will stick around the entire season, if the men will split up, or if one of the ladies will get eliminated. Either way, it seems like ABC is setting up Kaitlyn and Britt for some catty fights. Especially if they have to fight for the same men.
