The best week in any given “Bachelor” season is finally upon us. On Monday, Feb. 20, Nick Viall will head home with each of the final four women remaining on Season 21 of the ABC series to meet their friends and family.

A preview for episode 8, obtained by People magazine, teases tense confrontations with mothers, fathers and other caretakers. “The Bachelor” star is shown talking with Rachel L.’s mother, Vanessa and Raven’s fathers and, of course, Corinne’s nanny Raquel.

In Season 21, episode 3 it was revealed that the Miami native has a caretaker who has been with her family for years. She is tasked with a number of household duties including, but not limited to, cutting up Corinne’s vegetables and making her cheese pasta. In the “Bachelor” sneak peek, Nick sits down with Raquel to discuss his intentions with Corinne and it looks like Raquel didn’t come to play games.

Another noteworthy moment from the clip comes as Nick visits our neighbors to the North to meet Vanessa’s parents. He is show sitting down with her dad to ask for his blessing to continue seeing his daughter, but the conversation doesn’t go as planned. Vanessa’s father can be heard telling Nick he “just can’t” condone the relationship — yikes!

While Nick will struggle with some of the parents during hometown date week, the hardest part of this season of “The Bachelor” have yet to come. Rachel L., who has been revealed as the Season 13 “Bachelorette,” opened up about her and Nick’s breakup in an interview with People. Rachel L. revealed that she was both “heartbroken” and surprised by her split with Nick. She strongly believed that the outcome of Season 21 was going to be different, however, she remains hopeful that Nick found love with one of her three competitors. Rachel L. told People she just wants “Nick to be happy.”

“I was definitely heartbroken over the situation,” she said. “I didn’t expect it. I didn’t think it would end that way for me.”

Nick has also spoken on his split from Rachel L. During an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” he opened up about their time together on “The Bachelor,” admitting that they had a lot of chemistry. He added that while it didn’t work out between them in the end, he is “excited” about her journey and believes she’ll be a great “Bachelorette.” While Nick was open to discussing his split from Rachel, he did not chat much with host Ellen DeGeneres about which of the other three women he will pick. He brushed off speculation that Rachel L.’s removal from the competition automatically means Corinne is the Season 21 winner.

“The Bachelor” airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
