Things are heating up on Season 21 of “The Bachelor.” The ladies have been living under the same roof for three weeks and already tensions between many of them are palpable.

Episode 3 kicked off with leading man Nick Viall on an apology tour after news broke that Liz Sandoz — known as doula Liz and/or that girl who repeatedly recounted her one night stand with “The Bachelor” at Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert’s wedding — was sent home. He arrived at the mansion to undo the damage by being honest with the cast and asking them to move forward with him. Many of the ladies were upset about what had transpired between Nick and Liz, who was sent home in episode 2, but not “Bachelor” star Corinne Olympios.

The controversial cast member decided to help Nick unwind by turning on “the sex charm.” Corinne suited up in a trench coat, grabbed a can of whipped cream and met Nick in the yard — romantic, I know. There, she shot some of the dessert topping into Nick’s mouth before she put some on her chest and had “The Bachelor” lick it off. Things suddenly went downhill for Corinne and Nick and within moments the Miami native was in tears. She decided to head to bed where she slept soundly with her rose by her side, missing the rose ceremony that saw Hailey, Lacey and Elizabeth sent packing.

Two group dates took place during episode 3. The first — which Danielle L., Christen, Kristina, Whitney, Taylor, Jasmine and Corinne where chosen to go on — took place at a Backstreet Boys concert of all places. The ladies were required to dance backup for the pop stars, who would chose the one with the best chemistry with Nick at the end of the show. Corinne repeatedly melted down during the date because while she is an expert at utilizing her sexuality and, apparently, upsetting her co-stars, she doesn’t dance. Danielle L. won the date and was treated to a serenade from the Backstreet Boys that most 90s girls only could have only dreamed of.

The second group date required that the ladies — Rachel, Alexis, Astrid, Jaimi, Sarah, Brittany and Dominique — to show off their physical abilities in a series of track and field events. Rachel, Astrid and Alexis (dolphin/shark girl) were dubbed the top three and had to compete in a 100 meter dash toward a giant engagement ring for the chance to sit in a hot tub with Nick before the after party. Rachel was the first to cross the finish line, followed by Alexis. Neither managed to grab the ring, however, which made Astrid the real winner. Dominique, who was heartbroken that she and Nick had not connected, was sent home during the after party.

During episode 4, Corinne, who got a lot of flak for having a nanny, will continue to create problems within “The Bachelor” house. According to spoiler blogger Reality Steve, Nick and his suitors will head to his home state of Wisconsin where they’ll visit a few of his favorite places and spend time with his close friends and their wives. Danielle L. will have the chance to go on a one-on-one date with Nick during the trip. The pair will reportedly visit the Steaming Cup in Waukesha, Wisconsin, before heading to a concert.

During their brief pit stop, Nick and Danielle L. will run into an ex-girlfriend named Amber Allan. She’s currently married with two kids. It’s not clear what will happen when Nick and Amber confront one another, but Reality Steve reports that it is nothing major. From the coffee shop Nick and Danielle L. will head to a Chris Lane concert where they’ll dance and kiss on stage.

Raven will also get a chance to go on a one-on-one date with Nick. The pair will attend “The Bachelor” star’s little sister’s soccer game before heading to a skating rink. They’ll share a number of intimate skating moments, including a dance to “Time of My Life” from Dirty Dancing and “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran.

There will be just one group date during “The Bachelor” Season 21, episode 4. Thirteen of the women will head to a dairy farm where they’ll participate in a number of daily farm activities. The challenge will be to roll a wheel of cheese down a hill and beat it to the bottom, according to Reality Steve. From there the ladies and Nick will attend a cocktail party where the drama will really begin. Vanessa Grimaldi — rumored winner of the 2017 installment of “The Bachelor” — will reportedly butt heads with Danielle L. She will confront Nick about the contestant, calling her out for being fake. Kristina is slated to be the winner of the group date rose.

An additional dispute between Corinne and Taylor — who faced confrontation in the premiere episode, but insisted they were “OK” with each other — will nearly come to blows. During the cocktail party, Taylor, who works as a mental health counselor, will begin psychoanalyzing the girls. She apparently calls Corinne “emotionally unintelligent,” which won’t sit well.

Tune in to “The Bachelor” Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
