"Bachelor" alum Colton Underwood has put an end to the romance rumors linking him to "Pretty Little Liars" star Lucy Hale, revealing that he is not dating anyone.

Underwood, who appeared in "The Bachelorette" and "Bachelor in Paradise" as well, broke up with Cassie Randolph, his girlfriend of two years, in May. It wasn’t long before he was linked to Hale.

But Underwood shut down these speculations on Tuesday after confirming that he is "happily single."

"I would consider myself single right now. I'm happily single," he shared during the Chat4Good panel with Us Weekly’s Emily Longeretta. "My next relationship I'm already in and that's with myself. I've decided that I want to spend my energy and focus on all my attention on myself, which I'm actually weirdly loving."

The 28-year-old, however, added that he was still open to finding a partner, though he is hoping to meet someone more compatible with him this time.

"I don't want to say my exes weren't this, but I just want somebody who complements and fits into my life seamlessly," Colton said.

Rumors of Underwood and Hale dating started making the rounds last month after they were spotted on a hike at Paseo Miramar Trail in Los Angeles. At the time, sources told TMZ that the actress reached out to Underwood after his split from Randolph.

Hale has been a fan of Underwood for years. In 2018, the 31-year-old actress said he would make a good "Bachelor" as he was "wholesome," a "good guy" and "beautiful to watch."

By mid-July, Hale and Underwood were spending time together and going on casual dates, E! News reported. But though they were interested in each other, the relationship wasn’t serious, a source told the outlet.

Days before they were spotted together, Hale had spoken about her personal life and shut down the romance talks as well, saying she felt "more single than ever" due to the coronavirus pandemic.

"I feel the only way I’m gonna date someone next is if they make my life better because I’m so happy right now having my own routine," she told Entertainment Tonight.

Hale admitted that she was on a dating site but was too nervous to meet potential suitors.
