“Bachelor in Paradise” has found its first cast member! The ABC reality show will enter its second season this summer, and host Chris Harrison was able to announce the first contestant: Ashley S. from Chris Soules’ season of “The Bachelor”!

Fans had a feeling that “crazy” Ashley S. would join “The Bachelor” spinoff series after “The Women Tell All” special. Chris Harrison had approached her about the idea, but Ashley S. didn’t give him an answer.

“Hmmm,” she told him at the time. “It’s so weird … just that we’re on TV.”

During the “After the Final Rose” ceremony, she finally gave a concrete answer … kind of. She was in the audience when Chris Harrison asked her if she had made a decision.

“I mean, I suppose I might be there,” Ashley S. teased.

“I feel like that’s as good as it’s going to get,” Chris Harrison told the audience.

Ashley S. won “Bachelor” viewers over with her bizarre antics. The 24-year-old hairstylist from Brooklyn kept fans laughing with odd discussions about aliens, deep stares and theories about an underground "Bachelor" betting ring. She was eliminated by Chris Soules in week four.
