What happens when a contestant is eliminated from “The Bachelor” or “The Bachelorette”? If they’re lucky enough they get shipped off to “Paradise”! Season 2 of ABC’s “Bachelor in Paradise” premieres on August 2, reuniting viewers with some of their favorite broken-hearted bachelors and bachelorettes. Some fan favorites from older seasons are returning, along with fresh faces from Chris Soules and Kaitlyn Bristowe’s most recent seasons. Each single guy and gal is hoping for a second chance at love … and they just might get it.

Fifteen stars and villains from previous seasons will gather in the private town of Sayulita in Vallarta-Nayarit, Mexico. It’s there that each cast member will have a chance to strike a love connection that could potentially last outside of their short time in “Paradise.” However, each week will bring new twists as more cast members are introduced and others are eliminated.

The fun starts in a couple weeks, but we’re already casting our predictions for love connections:

Ashley Salter And Kirk Dewindt

Ideally we’d love to pair Ashley Salter of Chris Soules’ season up with Tony Harris from Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season. As of right now Tony’s not on the roster for “Bachelor in Paradise,” so Kirk Dewindt will have to do. “Bachelorette” fans will remember him from Ali Fedotowsky’s season where he came in third place – or they’ll remember his dad, who was a taxidermist.

Mikey Tenerelli And Jillian Anderson
The couple that works out together … stays together. Mikey Tenerelli and Jillian Anderson would be a good fit strictly based on the fact that they enjoy working out. Jillian showed off her muscles on Chris Soules’ season, while Mikey Tenerelli appeared on Desiree Hartsock’s season.

Ashley Iaconetti And JJ Lane

“Villains gonna vil.” JJ Lane made a name for himself as the “villain” during Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season – from throwing one of his close friends under the bus, to admitting that his marriage ended due to him cheating. While Ashley Iaconetti can’t really be considered a villain, her final episode was certainly disastrous. Fans will remember that she called out two of her former cast members for being fake with Chris Soules.

Jade Roper and Dan Cox

Jade Roper was the former Playboy model who opened up her heart to Chris Soules, only to have him send her home after she showed him her NSFW photos. Dan Cox, on the other hand, “didn’t put himself out there fast enough” during Desiree Hartsock’s season. Perhaps these two could even each other out?

Jared Haibon And Clare Crawley

Poor Jared Haibon had his heart broken by Kaitlyn Bristowe in Ireland. Although he thought that they had formed a strong relationship, Kaitlyn revealed that things had progressed further with the remaining guys. Jared took the breakup like a gentleman, even offering Kaitlyn his jacket when they went outside to talk. This is exactly the guy that Clare Crawley needs. The runner up from Juan Pablo Galavis’ season of “The Bachelor” can be a little wonky, but a romantic and perfect gentleman is exactly what she’s looking for.

Jonathan Holloway And Juelia Kinney

Juelia Kinney of Chris Soules’ season and Jonathan Holloway of Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season could potentially bond over the fact that their single parents. Both contestants are sincere and seem like they’re truly ready to find love.

Tanner Tolbert And ??

I mean … who is Tanner Tolbert? He managed to crack the top 10 of Kaitlyn Bristowe’s men, but “Bachelorette” viewers never really got to know him. It’s tough to say who he could form a relationship with. Fingers crossed he speaks up a little more during “Bachelor in Paradise.”
