It’s safe to say almost all TV viewers are privy to the idea in 2017 that a majority of what they see on reality TV is fake. That being said, viewers still tune in by the thousands to watch the weekly escapades on ABC’s “The Bachelor” franchise.

Midway through Season 21 of the program, this year’s cast has already solidified its villain in Miami business owner Corinne Olympios. While Corinne, 24, has defended her actions on the program multiple times since its premiere last month, she’s now getting support from her family, one member of which is calling out the show for allegedly staging scenes.

Speaking to In Touch Weekly, Corinne’s mother, Peri, cleared up some speculation about her daughter’s appearance on the program. According to Peri, Corinne was not naked during the infamous photo shoot date in episode 3, despite what the cameras made it appear.

“She had cover ups on,” Peri told the magazine in their Feb. 13 issue. In the episode, Corinne posed for a wedding-themed photo shoot in a pool with star Nick Viall. As the cameras rolled she appeared to take off her top and place Nick’s hands on her breasts. That is just one of the scenes featuring her daughter that Peri is calling “fake.”

Remember that sultry sequence where Nick licked whipped cream off Corinne’s breasts in front of the “Bachelor” mansion? Peri says it was all staged. “Do you really think a can of Reddi Whip was sitting there?” she questioned. “It was all for TV.”

Corinne’s mother isn’t the only one calling out the ABC show. Last year’s “Bachelorette” villain, Chad Johnson, also made claims about the show’s authenticity. “Every year is getting faker and faker,” he told the magazine. “It’s become more about the entertaining stuff that goes on in the house than the relationships.”

Corinne’s romance with Nick continues next Monday on “The Bachelor.” Episode 7 will see the cast jet to Bimini, Bahamas, where Corinne is rumored to try to seduce this season’s suitor. Will she be successful? Tune in at 8 p.m. EST on Feb. 13 to find out!
