“The Bachelorette” has brought Desiree Hartsock and viewers on an emotional journey for its ninth season– and it’s now coming to an end. Part two of the season finale is set to air on Monday, August 5, and ABC teases that it will be “one of the most dramatic evenings ever.”

So, what can fans expect? More heartbreak!

In part one of the finale, Desiree went on two amazing dates in Antigua with Drew and Chris. Both men accepted invitations to spend the night in a fantasy suite with Des, and both confessed their love. For Drew, he told Desiree that he was ready to propose that night … even though he didn’t have a ring. Chris on the other hand asked Des if she would be willing to pick up and move to Seattle – and she said she was.

But Desiree’s romantic time in Antigua turned into a nightmare when Brooks arrived and broke her heart. The frontrunner for the season told the bachelorette that he wasn’t ready to propose and that he’s confused about their relationship when they are apart.

With part one of the finale ending in tears for both Desiree and Brooks, fans are not sure where part two will lead. Fortunately a synopsis for the season finale was leaked online.

According to the episode description, Desiree will be ready to go home after being left “devastated, heartbroken and hopeless” on the edge of a dock. The 27-year-old bridal stylist will be forced to decide if “she can move forward with the other two men or if her hope of finding love will be ruined.”

Although “Bachelorette” viewers have watched sparks fly between Desiree and 27-year-old mortgage broker, Chris, and 27-year-old digital marketing analyst, Drew – Des told Brooks in part one that she loved him. Now she’ll be deciding if Drew or Chris have the “potential to be as intense as the chemistry she had with Brooks, who she thought was the love of her life.”

Sitting down with “Bachelorette” Chris Harrison to talk about Brooks, Chris and Drew, Desiree will break down in tears before going to face the two final men – and confessing that Brooks decided to leave. With their feelings for Des consistent throughout the whole show, could they possibly change how they feel after learning about Desiree’s attachment to Brooks?

“The final days of Desiree’s journey are filled with questions,” teases ABC’s synopsis. “If she does see promise in either Chris or Drew, will she introduce them to her family? Whether they meet her family or not, will Desiree’s brother, Nate, play a role in sabotaging her quest for love again? Desiree must look inward and consider if the love she has always wanted is right in front of her, or if her heartache over Brooks’ lost love will crush her dreams of finding a soul mate.”

But the drama on “The Bachelorette” won’t end there. After the season finale, Desiree will sit down with Chris Harrison, live, to discuss her three final bachelors – Brooks, Drew and Chris. All three men will return for “The Bachelorette: After The Final Rose” to talk about the “shocking outcome of the season.”

“Bachelorette” fans can catch part two of the season finale on Monday, Aug. 5 from 8 – 10 p.m. “The Bachelorette: After The Final Rose,” will air immediately after from 10 – 11 p.m.
