“Bachelorette” viewers are going to have to say a hard goodbye during episode 4 on Monday, June 2. In a press call with reporters, one of Andi Dorfman’s contestants, Marquel, revealed that Eric Hill will be departing the show by the end of Monday's episode.

Explaining that the episode will be heavy on emotions due to the expanding time that the guys are spending with the 26-year-old Atlanta beauty, Marquel confirmed that “Bachelorette” viewers will witness an “unconventional” exit.

"That episode may be a little more heartfelt or shocking," Marquel told reporters.

Expanding on his comments of a "heartfelt" and "shocking" exit, the contestant cautiously revealed the following:

“Eric leaves in an unconventional way. For maybe multiple reasons. I can’t really speak to the details being that I was just in the other room. But it’s not something that any of us had planned for or expected. This will be the last episode you see Eric, which is very, very sad.”

Eric Hill passed away on April 23 after a paragliding accident in Utah. The 31-years-old suffered from a 15-to-20-foot drop when his canopy collapsed around 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 20 at Point of the Mountain in Draper. The ABC reality star and world traveler was knocked unconscious and flown to the University of Utah hospital in Salt Lake City, where he was placed in a medically induced coma. He died a few days later due to his injuries.

Following his untimely death, the ABC show decided to dedicate Season 10 of "The Bachelorette" to Eric.

"Bachelorette" viewers got their first chance to meet Eric Hill during the May 19 premiere. Stepping out of the limo and seeing Andi Dorfman for the first time, the contestant gifted the bachelorette with two handmade dolls that were given to him by a little girl in Peru. He told Andi at the time that the dolls were meant for his girlfriend.

Fans learned more about Eric when he received the highly coveted first one-on-one date with Andi during episode 2. The pair shared a romantic date at the beach before getting whisked away by helicopter to a snowy California mountain. Receiving a brief snowboarding lesson from professional boarder Louie Vito, Eric ended up sweetly helping novice Andi make her way down the slope.

The chemistry between the two was obvious as Eric Hill opened up about his experiences traveling the world. The contestant admitted that he wrote a goodbye letter to his parents during a frightening trip to Syria, when the group he was in was stopped by armed militants.

Eric Hill was a world traveler and extreme-sport enthusiast. In February 2013 he launched "The Global Odyssey," a website that documented his journey to break the world travel record of visiting every country in less than three years, three months and six days."

"The Bachelorette" will be airing back-to-back episodes starting on Sunday, June 1. Episode 3 will air from 8 - 10 p.m. EDT on Sunday, June 1, and episode 4 will air from 8 - 10 p.m. EDT on Monday, June 2.
