Kaitlyn Bristowe has a BIG decision to make in the Season 11 finale of “The Bachelorette.” The 29-year-old Vancouver dance instructor started off dating 26 guys, but she’s narrowed her search for love down to two single men – Nick Viall and Shawn Booth. So, who will she choose to start a life with?

Shawn Booth

Kaityn Bristowe’s journey with Shawn Booth started off like a fairytale. Fans of the ABC reality show know that Shawn entered the house hoping for a chance to pursue a relationship with Kaitlyn, not Britt Nilsson. But Kaitlyn didn’t know that when she first met him. Both Britt and Kaitlyn admitted that they found him attractive when he exited the limo, and it looked as if the girls would have to fight over him until he made his intentions clear. Kaitlyn ultimately ended up becoming “The Bachelorette,” and gifted Shawn with the first impression rose.

“I’m really attracted to you,” she told him at the time. “And I’m excited and I can’t wait to take you on a date. Will you accept this rose?”

Shawn accepted and the two shared a steamy kiss, jumpstarting their journey to love.

Things went well from there, with Shawn receiving numerous group date roses along the way. But things took a turn when Kaitlyn allowed Nick Viall to join the other contestants. Although Kaitlyn said that the addition of Nick didn’t change any of her other relationships, the decision made Shawn take a step back and put his guard back up. After embarking on a solo date in episode 5, the two were able to move past it and Shawn even confessed that he was falling in love with her. However, jealousy over Nick kept eating at Shawn.

Nick Viall

Fans of “The Bachelorette” knew all about Nick Viall before he entered the show in episode 4. Nick previously competed on Andi Dorfman’s season of “The Bachelorette” the year before. He formed a strong connection with Andi, making it all the way to the final two. However, love wasn’t in the cards for the two. Andi broke things off with him before the rose ceremony and ended up choosing Josh Murray. The two had an awkward showdown during the “After the Final Rose” special when Nick told the world that he had slept with her during the Fantasy Suite date.

Nick resurfaced in episode 4 to tell Kaitlyn that he had to meet her. The two had been texting since Chris Soules’ season of “The Bachelor” last year, and Nick confessed that he had developed feelings for her. He admitted that the thought of her getting engaged to another guy upset him, so he decided to fly out to New York in an attempt to join the show. After some deep thinking, Kaitlyn let him join the other contestants – even though the decision didn’t make everyone happy.

Nick wasn’t there from the beginning, but their relationship heated up quickly. In episode 6 the two went out on a one-on-one date that went a little too far. They ended up back in Kaitlyn’s bedroom where they had sex. Kaitlyn didn’t regret it, but she later admitted that she felt guilty due to her other relationships.

Shawn And Nick

Kaitlyn’s relationships with both men are truly intertwined. Although Nick has tried to keep to himself the whole season, Shawn has made it clear that he doesn’t like the “other guy” – and things came to a head in episodes 8 and 9. Shawn went to Nick’s place in Ireland to confront him following his overnight date with Kaitlyn. He told Nick that he was still questioning his motives, but Nick doesn’t care what Shawn thinks because he claims that Shawn doesn’t know him. However, Shawn does think he knows him, calling him “manipulative” and “arrogant.”

The fighting between the two men has Kaitlyn truly torn. Is Nick as bad as Shawn says he is? Or is Shawn being too controlling and jealous? It’s something that the Bachelorette has to figure out in the Season 11 finale.
