Bachelorette, Ashley Hebert has chosen her man in the finale of the show. The lucky contestant who made the final cut is J.P. Rosenbaum from New York's Long Island. Hebert chose the 34-year-old construction manager over winemaker Ben Flajnik from California on Monday's two-hour finale.

Hebert is a 26-year-old Madawaska, Maine, native. She now lives in Philadelphia and attends dental school at the University of Pennsylvania. She competed on "The Bachelor" for Brad Womack's affections in season 15.

Faljnik and Rosenbaum were the ones given roses in last week’s episode which saw the surprise voluntary exit of Constantine Tzortzis.

Flajnik said in his proposal , "Every second I spend with you makes me fell deeper in love with you. I want to thank you for allowing me to feel completely and utterly vulnerable and open with you." Ashley did not accept the proposal.

She obviously was waiting for Rosenbaum who came in a sea plane and Ashley’s glowing smile at his arrival said it all. Rosenbaum proposed with "All the time we've spent together, it's been the happiest time of my life, and you always say to me you're smiling all the time, you're going to have wrinkles when you're older. Well, I smile because of you. You bring that out. What I do know for absolute certain is that I am madly in love with you. I love everything about you." (Source: People.com)

The audience poll on abc.com showed JP getting y 72 per cent of the votes compared to 24 per cent for Ben."The Bachelorette" franchise have made it down the aisle.

The men met her parents, brother, and sister. Ashley’s sister did not see the love connection between Ashley and JP and voiced her reservations about the relationship. According to her, he was a little old for her and “I think you’re too much for him,” she said. “I think you’re too young and too spunky and he’s just a little bit older and a little bit more demure.
