At least 18 people have been killed in a suicide bombing in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.

The bomber detonated a car loaded with explosives outside the offices of the Shia Waqf, an agency which looks after religious sites, amid simmering tensions between the country's Shiite and Sunni communities.

The latest attack follows a series of bombings last week in which 17 people were killed.

Iraq
