Baidu, Inc., the operator of the top search engine in China, said today that its chief technology officer Yinan Li resigned today from the company for personal reasons. No replacement was named.

“We appreciate all that Yinan has contributed to Baidu and we wish him every success in his future endeavors,” said Robin Li, the company’s chairman and chief executive officer.

Today’s announcement comes as the company’s fourth fiscal quarter winds down. There have been several management changes among the company’s executive ranks in recent weeks.

On January 8, the company announced three changes in its operations and business segments. Haoyu Shen was promoted to senior vice president from vice president of business operations. Zhan Wag to was promoted to vice president from senior director of business products. Also, Chief Operating Officer Peng Ye resigned due to personal reasons.
