With the transfer season closing fast, Manchester United still has a chance to add Brazilian star Neymar.

According to Jamie Jackson of The Guardian, the 23-year-old Neymar would consider a transfer to Manchester United because of the “size and history” of the club and that the Brazilian wants to have a “chance to play” in the English Premier League. Neymar has played for only two clubs in his career, for the Santos F.C. in Brazil from 2009 to 2013 and for Barcelona since 2013.

Luis Enriquez, the manager of Barcelona, did not divulge any plans of any transfer concerning Neymar.

“It doesn’t interest me to talk about rumors, nor these types of situations,” Enriquez stated via Sky Sports. "I only want to focus on what's happened to my team." Barcelona started their La Liga campaign with a 1-0 win over Athletic Bilbao last Sunday.

Star Luis Suarez, who scored in the 54th minute, notched the game's only goal with Neymar not part of the line-up because the Brazilian suffered from mumps recently.

Neymar has 31 goals in 59 matches for Barcelona and has also represented the Brazilian soccer national team since 2010 producing 44 goals in 65 international matches.
