Barclay says 2,100 more cuts in jobs

Barclays said today it is cutting more of its workforce in its U.K. retail, commercial banking and Barclaycard business by 2,100 jobs .

The bank confirmed to Reuters it is cutting the jobs but noted it hasn't completed consultation with its staff yet.

With the new announcement, the job cuts announced only in the past week total 4,600.
