Barclays cutting 2,100 workers: source

U.K's Barclays Plc will cut 2,100 jobs in its investment banking and investment management units, according to a report from the Associated Press Tuesday.

The job cut will be divided into the following: investment bank Barclays Capital: 1,300 jobs. Barclays Wealth: 500 jobs and Barclays 370 jobs, AP noted.

The job cut represents about 7 percent of Barclays total workforce.
