Tiger Woods
Tiger Woods life came crashing down in Nov. 2009 when he lost control of his car, hitting a fire hydrant and a neighbor's tree after pulling out of his driveway in the early hours of the morning. Initially, reports covering the story said that the golfer's wife smashed the back window to get him out, saving his wife. Later, reports clarified that Woods was actually making a getaway from his angry wife, who had been striking the vehicle with the golf club after finding out about his affairs. Coverage on the accident turned the star golfer from victim to offender, as more evidence of his adultery was revealed. REUTERS

After a poor third-round performance, Tiger Woods tees off Sunday at The Barclays at Bethpage Black six strokes from the lead.

Woods struggled with poor putting and slick greens Saturday, and is tied for 10th place with veteran Phil Mickelson.

Woods shot a 1-over-par 72, as he three-putted four times along with four birdies and five bogeys on the day. He did hit well from the tee, with 10 of 14 fairways and 12 of 18 greens, but his short game proved to be the downfall.

"I played a beautiful round of golf," Woods said. "Unfortunately I didn't clean up on the greens."

Spaniard Sergio Garcia stayed atop the leaderboard with a 2-under 69 on Saturday, and now has a two-stroke lead over Nick Watney, who hit an even-par 71.

Woods will tee off at 12:20 p.m., and Garcia and Watney begin at 1:40 p.m.
