Trouble is always brewing on “Bates Motel.” Season 2 of the hit A&E show is quickly moving along with episode 6, “The Plunge,” airing on April 7. Needless to say, the episode will be upping the ante and taking the drama to the next level.

For those that missed episode 5, Sheriff Romero sought revenge against Zane by bringing down his fists of fury upon him. Norman continued to grow closer to Cody; and Emma found herself in a new relationship with Gunner, the local weed dealer.  Meanwhile Norma sat down with Nick Ford to make a plan to stop the bypass, and Dylan became caught in the middle of a deadly situation thanks to Zane.

Episode 6 will find Norma and Norman’s relationship threatened thanks to a growing secret. Could it have something to do with Cody and Norman’s steamy hookup? Norma made it clear to her son that she doesn’t want him hanging out with the townie, but “Bates Motel” viewers have watched Norman become much more bolder with his actions – particularly when the actions involve going against his mother’s wishes.

Meanwhile “The Plunge” will also find Emma in a “dangerous situation,” and Dylan asked to “manage an explosive situation.” What might those situations be?

A promo video for episode 16 reveals that Emma will be ratting Norman out to his mother about his blackouts, something that Norma believed her son had under control. Norman can’t be trusted during his blackouts, but we doubt he would hurt Emma. But can Emma’s new boyfriend be trusted? “Bates Motel” viewers know that Gunner sells weed, but it’s unclear where he fits into the White Pine Bay drug ring.

Dylan on the other hand is now working alongside his boss/ Zane’s sister. “I need you to do something,” she tells Dylan in the promo video. And since Dylan’s business seems to revolve around revenge, we wouldn’t doubt that Zane’s sister would ask Dylan to hunt down and kill the men who almost killed Zane … or maybe even Sheriff Romero.

Episode 6, “The Plunge,” will air on A&E on April 7 at 10 p.m. EDT. What do you think will happen on “Bates Motel”? Let us know in the comments section or send a tweet to @AmandaTVScoop.
