Batman’s Batmobile in “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” will be “very sexy looking,” promises the film’s production designer, Patrick Tatopoulos. In a recent conversation with Empire magazine, Tatapoulos revealed intriguing details about Batman’s vehicle and how it is different from the previous Batmobiles shown on screen.

“Batman is rougher, tougher, and grungier. So everything is rough: the weapons, the suit and the car. There are machine guns mounted on the front,” he told Empire (via Collider). “It is scratched, damaged. … Batmobiles are often designed very low to the ground, something classical. That didn’t feel fully comfortable for us. I thought the Tumbler was a revolutionary design, with the suspension very high up.”

Tatopoulos added that he designed the Batmobile keeping a motorcycle in mind. The first reveal of Batmobile in the film will reportedly show it in “fixed” state.  It will not be shown zooming out of a garage in style.

Apparently, the Batmobile has been given a grunge look to match the theme of the Justice League film. Tatapoulos told the magazine that all the Batman paraphernalia has been designed keeping coming Justice League films in the mind.

“We are creating a world for Batman – every set, every prop, is real. We have to be ready for what’s next,” he added.

Ben Affleck plays Batman in “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.” He will be shown traveling to Metropolis to take on Superman (Henry Cavill). The two will be shown confronting each other. The film also stars Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter, and Gal Gadot. Zack Snyder is directing from the screenplay by Chris Terrio and David S. Goyer.

Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder are the producers and it opens March 25, 2016. It will be shown in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D.
