A new picture of Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel in his forthcoming movie “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” has surfaced online. Cast members Gal Gadot [Wonder Woman] and Jason Momoa [Aquaman] were spotted together in another photo.

A new picture of Cavill posted on the Instagram account of the actor's fan site shows him in his costume. The picture comes with few details about the movie and a quote from the director Zack Snyder. The report notes that the forthcoming movie will test the “strength, wills and moral malleability” of the two main characters.

The movie is set to show the battle between the Caped Crusader [Ben Affleck] and the Man of Steel. “It’s two philosophies of protection coming into conflict,” Snyder reportedly said about the plot of the movie. Unlike the previous movies, where Batman is responding to an injustice, the forthcoming movie will apparently show the character take a preemptive strike at Superman, according to the director.

Snyder is said to have pointed out that since the Caped Crusader is going up against a very formidable superhero, he may not get a “second shot at him,” if he misses. This suggests that Affleck’s character will make the first movie to subdue his adversary in “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.”

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly recently, Cavill said that the movie will be an “introduction to Batman” and will not be a sequel to the 2013 “Man of Steel” movie. The movie will introduce Wonder Woman and Aquaman as well. This picture shows Momoa and Gadot together.

A previous report by Entertainment Weekly revealed that Wonder Woman will get to flirt with Bruce Wayne at a high-society function in the forthcoming movie. Commenting on the scene, Affleck reportedly loved the fact that there was a “Thomas Crown Affair” style scene in the movie, where the two characters pretend to be different from what they really are while knowing each other’s secret.

Snyder previously released this picture of Momoa as Aquaman in “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.” Both Aquaman and Wonder woman will be seen in solo movies that are slated to be released in 2017 and 2018 respectively.
