It's cops against robbers in the next “Battlefield” installment, according to a seven-minute gameplay trailer leaked on Tuesday.

The leak began when a user on the Better Battlelog forum discovered some clues about the next "Battlefield" game, which was code-named "Battlefield Havana" by developer EA (NASDAQ:EA). He also uncovered four soldier classes: Enforcer, Mechanic, Operator and Professional.

Shortly after, developer Koen Vlaswinkel found the “Hardline” logo from the Battlelog website, as well as the word “visceral” in the data files, which hinted that the “Dead Space” developer is working on the upcoming game.

As expected, EA removed the trailer and officially announced “Battlefield Hardline,” which will be unveiled at E3 next month.

The title will reportedly be available for the PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Following the leak, Visceral Games confirmed its involvement with the title, along with an estimated release date.

"On behalf of everyone at EA and Visceral Games, I’m fired up to confirm our next project, ''Battlefield Hardline,'" said Visceral Games Vice President Steve Papoutsis in a blog post Tuesday. "The game launches this fall, and it’s a brand-new series in the 'Battlefield' franchise, set against the backdrop of a genre we all love: the war on crime and the battle between cops and criminals."

"There’s been a lot of buzz today about 'Battlefield Hardline.' We’re getting ready for E3 and fans found some details on our website about what we’re working on for the show. We’ve been reading all of your comments and we’re excited to be going into more detail soon on the ways we’re adding new twists and turns to the foundation of Battlefield multiplayer and more about how we’re bringing our strengths at Visceral to single player," Papoutsis added.

This will be the first installment since 2013's "Battlefield 4." Since the game's launch on Oct. 29 last year, "BF4" has experienced major technical issues and crashes on all platforms. When players voiced their complaints, developer EA DICE responded swiftly, creating patches for the game.

A patch for PS4 errors launched on Jan. 14, and EA DICE promised that development of future games would be put on hold until “BF4” was working correctly.

"We know we still have a ways to go with fixing the game -- it is absolutely our No. 1 priority. The team at DICE is working non-stop to update the game,” an EA representative told gaming website IGN in December. "We know many of our players are frustrated, and we feel your pain. We will not stop until this is right."
