UEFA Champions League action kicks off when German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich take on Spanish La Liga heavyweights Real Madrid in the semifinal first leg at the Allianz Arena, the home ground of Bayern, Tuesday night.

Bayern are set to host the nine-time European champions and Bayern coach Jupp Heynckes believes that his players will look to make the most of the situation with the fact that the final will be held in Munich on the back of their minds.

Real may feel the pressure as Bayern, now almost mathematically out of the race for the Bundesliga title, will look to make up with European dominance that will be their main priority.

Real manager Jose Mourinho has called up a squad of 24 players for their trip to Germany. The list of players includes Germany internationals Mesut Ozil and Sami Khedira along with former Borussia Dortmund midfielder Nuri Sahin.
