LAS VEGAS — The new “Baywatch” team has arrived. Paramount Pictures released its first look at the comedy Monday night during the studio’s presentation at CinemaCon in Las Vegas.

While the film’s cast was not present at the event due to the movie’s shooting schedule, they did release the first trailer for the comedy.

“This is a big movie for Paramount,” Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson said in a pre-corded video to CinemaCon attendees. “I’ve been a part of some really big-ass teams, but this team, there’s none badder… We kick ass on the beach!”

The trailer revealed that Zac Efron’s character, Matt Brody, is the second best lifeguard on the beach to Johnson's Mitch Buchannon. “Baywatch is more than just a job, it is a way of life,” Mitch says.

When Matt fails to show up to work on time because he wanted donuts, Mitch tosses his breakfast. And while the two don’t see eye-to-eye about their job at the start of the teaser, one scene teases the pair will team up when Mitch notices something “fishy” is going on at the beach.

While the film may see the men come together, it will also have a bit of romance. Zac’s character is seen flirting with Summer Quinn, played by Alexandra Daddario, in the feature's trailer. Johnson also revealed to CinemaCon attendees that his character will have a romance with Ilfenesh Hadera’s Stephanie Holden.

The rest of the trailer includes a lot of muscle, fast cars, girl fights, laughs and scantily clad women — Kelly Rohrbach’s C.J. Parker says the swimsuits for the females are so small because it helps them swim faster.

“Baywatch” swims into theaters May 19, 2017.
