David Beckham was in red-hot form for LA Galaxy as Los Angeles moved five points clear at the top of the Western Conference after a 2-1 win over Chicago Fire.

Beckham was involved in Landaon Donovan's 58th-minute opener as the Englishman laid on a free kick perfectly for the American to head in at the far post. However, Cristian Nazarith soon equalized for Chicago though it didn't stay level for long as Beckham scored the winner in unthinkable fashion. He struck a low corner which evaded everyone and had enough swing in it to curl into the back of the net.
