Prince William and Kate Middleton’s North American inaugural tour has been tremendously spotlighted. The royal tour had taken the couple from the east coast of Canada to the west coast of the U.S. During the tour Kate's ravishing tour looks have amused millions of viewers.

After ending their successful 11-day North America tour, they are now back home.

What will the couple do next?

Royal relaxation! Now away from the spotlight, the royals are planning on slipping under the radar for a while, scheduling no more than one or two engagements a month in fall and winter.

After spending whirlwind moments in the past few months, they want to spend time together and enjoy their personal life as a married couple.

The thoughtful couple also add Queen Elizabeth quite rightly should be in the spotlight as they are very conscious to make sure the run-up to 2012 is the Queen's year, according to a royal spokesman.

For those who miss their first official royal tour here are highlights of the North America royal tour that ended last Monday:

Day 1: Prince William and Kate arrive in Ottawa and are greeted by the Canadian PM.
Crowds gathered at Rideau Hall where the Duke and Du of Cambridge stayed.

Day 2: Will and Kate take part in a Canadian citizenship ceremony.
In the afternoon they attend the official Canada Day celebrations.

Day 3: In Montreal, Will and Kate visit the Sainte-Justine University Hospital Centre.
But they encounter a group of protesters outside.
Later the couple take part in a cooking workshop at the Quebec Tourism and Hotel Institute.

Day 4: In Quebec City Will and Kate attend a prayer service at the Citadelle and inspect troops.

Day 5: Prince William takes part in a rescue demonstration with the Canadian Forces.

Day 6: In Yellow Knife in the North West Territories Prince William plays street hockey.
At Blachford Lake Will and Kate go canoeing and then meet local rangers.

Day 7: Will and Kate visit the wild fire-ravaged town of Slave Lake.

Day 8: In Calgary Will and Kate visit the 21st Century Research and Innovation Centre.

Day 9: Will and Kate officially launch the Calgary Stampede parade.
Later they fly to Los Angeles ending their tour of Canada and attend a private reception at the British Consul-General's residence in LA.

Day 10: Prince William plays polo at the Santa Barbara Polo Club.
Later Will and Kate mingle with Hollywood stars at BAFTA event.

Day 11: Will and Kate visit a project for children living in poverty and a jobs fair for combat veterans before taking a commercial flight back to the UK.
