A tender moment between President Obama and his youngest daughter, Sasha, was captured on film during his reelection Tuesday night.

As Obama greeted his thousands of supporters while onstage in Chicago alongside his family, 11-year-old Sasha nudged him after seeing the crowd of fans behind the president.

“Behind you,” she said to him several times, prompting Obama to turn around and face the many Americans who helped keep him in office for four more years.

When he and his family turned around, the crowd cheered and waved to first lady Michelle Obama, Barack Obama and their daughters, Sasha and Malia.

On election night, President Obama was reelected for a second term with 303 electoral votes, while former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney only received 206 electoral votes. The president only needed 270 to win the election.

During his victory speech, Obama said, “I believe we can seize this future together, because we are not as divided as our politics suggests. We're not as cynical as the pundits believe.

We are greater than the sum of our individual ambitions, and we remain more than a collection of red states and blue states. We are, and forever will be, the United States of America.”
