RTTNews - Friday, Belgium's National Institute of Statistics announced that the consumer price index or CPI dropped 1.10% year-over-year in June, compared with a 0.37% fall in the previous month. In April, the consumer price inflation was 0.60%.

The annual consumer prices decline was mainly due to lower prices of natural gas, electricity, vegetables, fruits and flowers, the statistical office said.

On a monthly basis, the CPI decreased 0.19% in June, after falling 0.7% in May.
