Last week, "Famous in Love" actress Bella Thorne posted to her Twitter that she had made a decision to leak her own nude photographs after a hacker had obtained them. In a statement, Thorne said that instead of giving in to the hacker, she instead opted to take matters into her own hands and take "her power back."

"Yesterday as u all know my [expletive] was hacked. For the last 24 hours I have been threatened with my own nudes," she said. "I feel gross, I feel watched, I feel someone has taken something special from me that I only wanted one special person to see."

Continuing, the 21-year-old added, "I'm putting this out because it's MY DECISION NOW U DON'T GET TO TAKE YET ANOTHER THING FROM ME. I can sleep better tonight knowing I took my power back."

On Monday's episode of "The View," co-host Whoopi Goldberg, 63, expressed little sympathy for what had transpired in Thorne's life.

"If you're famous, I don't care how old you are, you don't take nude pictures of yourself," the "Sister Act" actress said, adding, "Once you take that picture it goes into the cloud and it's available to any hacker who wants it, and if you don't know that in 2019, that this is an issue. I'm sorry. You don't get to do that."

Those comments eventually made their way back to Thorne, which prompted her to post a response to her Instagram Story on Tuesday, reports People.

"Dear Whoopi, I have loved u for so long but honestly I'm so displeased and sadden [sic] by your response to my leek [sic]. Blaming girls for taking the photo is the first place? Is sick and honestly disgusting," the singer wrote. "Ur view on this matter is honestly awful and I hope u change ur mind set as u are on a show talking to young girls."

That sentiment was accompanied by a series of videos as well where the "Midnight Sun" actress cried and said she planned to cancel her interview on the television show. Whoopi has yet to publicly issue a response regarding Thorne's follow-ups.
