The 149th running of the $1.5 million Belmont Stakes is just four days away with the field continuing to take shape in a year that won't have a Triple Crown winner. Kentucky Derby winner Always Dreaming and Preakness Stakes winner Cloud Computing have already withdrawn from Belmont, leaving Classic Empire as the clear favorite.

Trained by Mark Casse, Classic Empire has not budged from his 2/1 odds after a fourth-place finish at the Derby and a second-place finish at the Preakness.

The current field has 13 horses for the 1 1/2-mile race with other top-tier contenders seeing movement in their odds, according to Bovada. In recent days, Japan-based Epicharis dropped from 19/4 to 5/1 and is now at 6/1. Lookin At Lee also dropped from 5/1 odds to 6/1.

Irish War Cry has seen a strong boost this week. On Friday, the colt was listed at 9/1 and now has 6/1 odds after finishing 10th at the Derby.

"Watching him train and seeing how well he's doing being back at Fair Hill and then seeing the result of the Preakness, obviously, he's run well with those horses before," said Irish War Cry's trainer Graham Motion. "It made me think more about it. [Belmont] is a classic. It only comes around once in a horse's lifetime, and I think he deserves another chance."

Irap, who had 16/1 odds, recently pulled out of Belmont, while Hollywood Handsome has joined the field with 40/1 odds.

In recent years, the Belmont has seen some intriguing winners. With the exception of Triple Crown winner American Pharoah in 2015, the past five winners have had no better than 6/1 odds.
