It’s that time of year again when the best and most creative in hip hop come together to celebrate a night of greatness. DJ Khaled will be hosting the 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards taking place in Miami, Florida, on Friday where there is sure to be some unforgettable moments worthy of going down in hip hop history.

Those who did not receive an invite to the star-studded event can catch the show at home or on a mobile device next week. The BET Hip Hop Awards will be airing on television on Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. EDT on BET. However, if you do not have access to a television during the award show, you can live stream the ceremony at Bet.Com. However, online viewers will be required to use their cable provider logins to view the show.

Although fans won’t get to see the show until next week, they can still tune into Twitter on Friday where James Davis and Amanda Booz will be live streaming from the red carpet starting at 6:30 p.m. EDT.

The award show, which is known for delivering unforgettable performances and tributes honoring music legends, will once again celebrate the best and brightest in hip hop. DJ Khaled, Kendrick Lamar and Cardi B each received nine nominations for this year’s award show. Khaled, who is known for creating anthems, is nominated for album of the year, best hip hop video and producer of the year among other nods.

Lamar, who will be up against Khaled for album of the year, MVP of the year, best hip hop video and hustler of the year, is also up for single of the year, lyricist of the year and hot ticket performer.

Whereas newcomer Cardi has managed to pick up nominations for summer anthem for her hit single “Bodak Yellow” and earned nods for the made-you-look award (Best Hip Hop Style) and best mixtape.

The second most nominated artists of the night are Jay Z and Chance The Rapper, who both snagged five nominations each. While the Brooklyn-born artist released the popular “4:44” album, Chance The Rapper has put out numerous hit songs. Other artists nominated include Future and Migos, who picked up four nominations each.

Gucci Mane, Trick Daddy, Trina, Yo Gotti, Rick Ross, T Pain, Plies, Cardi B, Migos, DJ Khaled and more artists are scheduled to perform at the award show.

One of the performers, DJ Khaled, who is behind hit songs like “I’m the One and “Wild Thoughts,” is also heading the show as the host. “I am so excited to host the BET Hip Hop Awards for a second year. This is such an iconic show that highlights the hustle of hip hop artists in the industry,” he said in a press release.

“It is a huge honor to be a part of a night that pays homage to some of the greatest talent of our generation and I’m looking forward to the amazing performances and tributes. You know I’ll be bringing the cloth talk and the keys -- Hip Hop Awards 2017 is going to be major!”

The BET Hip-Hop Awards will take place on Oct. 6 and will air Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. EDT on BET.
