Former “Real Housewives of New York City” star Bethenny Frankel feels so bad for Teresa Giudice… not! The Skinnygirl mogul whose talk show “Bethenny” will be debuting in the fall spoke candidly about the fiery “RHONJ” star after she was indicted on fraud charges.

If she and husband Joe Giudice are found guilty by United States District Court in Newark, they could face up to 50 years in prison, but all Frankel could do was point out that the Giudices should have thought twice before appearing on Bravo’s “Real Housewives” series.

Here’s what the outspoken 42-year-old had to say about the Italian American reality-star at the TCA tour panel at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills on Wednesday, according to Us Weekly: "My first thought today was, 'Oh, if they weren't on reality TV, none of this would probably ever be exposed.’”

“And it's just funny how certain people are [like a] moth to a flame. It's almost like -- not that you want to get caught -- but people who love to be in the spotlight often have a lot of skeletons in their closet. “ The business savvy star added, “It's just an interesting thing."

Talk about not having any sympathy. But the New York native didn’t stop there: "I haven't paid that much attention. Do I feel sorry for them? No, I don't. Not so much, because it broke the law. You broke the law and you went on television. That's not really that smart."

The Giudices are facing 39-charges, which includes: conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, bank fraud, making false statements on loan applications and bankruptcy fraud.

But Teresa maintains her innocence: "Today is a most difficult day for our family. I support Joe and, as a wonderful husband and father, I know he wants only the best for our lovely daughters and me,” the 41-year-old told Us Weekly. “I am committed to my family and intend to maintain our lives in the best way possible, which includes continuing my career. As a result, I am hopeful that we will resolve this matter with the government as quickly as possible."

Even Though Frankel doesn’t think must of the “RHONJ” duo, she did express a little compassion for the Giudices' three children: Gia, 12; Gabrielle, 10; and Milania, 7. "I feel badly for them because they have kids, and their kids didn't sign up for this."

Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton pointed out it was a little hypocritical for Frankel to say she felt bad for the Giudice kids since her daughter Bryn has been placed in the middle of her parent’s bitter divorce.

The reality star and Jason Hoppy and been viciously fighting for custody over 3-year-old Bryn and alimony, but unlike the Giudices, who might go to jail, little Bryn will still have both her parents (unbarred) once their legal battle is over.
