Better Call Saul
Will Marie Schrader (Betsey Brandt) from "Breaking Bad" return in "Better Call Saul?" AMC

Mike (Jonathan Banks), Tuco (Raymond Cruz), No-Doze (Cesar Garcia) and, of course, Saul (Bob Odenkirk) have all made appearances on “Better Call Saul,” but fans are still holding out for some more big name “Breaking Bad” cameos. With the ratings success of the spinoff, there should be ample ways to work in Walter White (Bryan Cranston), Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) and the rest of the “Breaking Bad” crew, but one cast member is already expressing interest.

Betsey Brandt, who played Marie Schrader – Walter White’s sister-in-law and the wife of DEA agent Hank Schrader (Dean Norris) – told E! Online that she would love another shot at the character.

"I can't promise anything yet," said Brandt. "But it's such a great show…I am down!"

Marie’s return would be a welcome addition for fans. Although, shy of a quick cameo, it is unclear how EPs Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould would work the character into the new show without also bringing back Dean Norris or another “Breaking Bad” staple first.

Since the finale of “Breaking Bad” in 2013, Brandt has been busy with a rather successful television career. The actress has scored recurring roles on numerous hit series, including “Parenthood,” “Masters of Sex” and “The Michael J. Fox Show.” Brandt will soon appear in the upcoming ABC series “Members Only.”

So, Brandt says she is in! Now the ball is in Vince Gilligan’s court to write the character back into the fold. Will Marie make her return in “Better Call Saul?” Fans will have to wait to find out. “Better Call Saul” airs on Mondays at 10 p.m. EST on AMC.
