It is not yet clear when worn-down lawyer Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) will shed his ill-fitting suits and cruddy car for the overpriced wardrobe and Constitution-adorned office of one Saul Goodman, but now fans at least havea date for the next chapter in Jimmy's story. "Better Call Saul" Season 2 will premiere on AMC on Feb. 15, as viewers eagerly await Jimmy's transformation into the "Breaking Bad" incarnation of his character.

In a press release Monday, AMC announced that the show will return for its second season on Monday, Feb. 15 at 10 p.m. EST. “Jimmy McGill’s journey takes surprising, left-handed turns in season two of 'Better Call Saul.'  He goes to places we’d never, ever expected.  As for Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks), he’s pulled deeper into a world he was sure he’d left forever,” said co-creator and executive producer Peter Gould in the press release.  “We can’t wait to share the next chapter of 'Better Call Saul' with the fans who have embraced the show.”

Fans cannot wait either. The latest trailer for Season 2 did not hold back in teasing Jimmy's emerging Saul Goodman alter-ego. The promo revisits one of the final scenes of Season 1 in which Jimmy decides to walk out on an opportunity to take a position at a powerful, prestigious law firm. Swirling in his head, via voice over, are the voices of all the naysayers who had encouraged him to drop the dream of running his own practice, leading up to his big finale promise to Mike.

In the Season 1 finale Jimmy walked out on a partnership offer from a large Santa Fe law firm -- thanks to Kim's (Rhea Seehorn) recommendation -- after returning home from Chicago, where he had been running cons again with Marco (Mel Rodriguez) ... until Marco dropped dead. An emotional Jimmy, on the outs with both his brother (Michael McKean) and Hamlin, decided to go it alone. On his way out of the parking lot he asked Mike (Jonathan Banks) why they did not keep the Kettlemans' embezzled money. He declared that whatever stopped him -- "doing the right thing" -- would never stop him again.
