Veteran actor Betty White will celebrate her 90th birthday at Los Angeles gala on Jan. 17. According to a report by Access Hollywood, she wants Robert Redford be present for her 90th birthday.
I don't want to impose on him, but it would be very nice. Don't tell George Clooney I'm dating Robert Redford. You know how they are, she said. The actress told Access Hollywood that she has fancied Redford for many years. White also revealed that she fancies Oscar winner Clooney, even though the actor is much younger than she is. George Clooney is not chopped liver. I think [I] should expand [my] horizons a little bit, don't you? she said.
Betty White's 90th Birthday: A Tribute to America's Golden Girl, which will feature a reunion of the Mary Tyler Moore Show cast, is to be followed by the premiere of her new hidden-camera prank show Betty White's Off Their Rockers. Celebrities paying tribute to White include Tina Fey, Ray Romano, Seth Meyers, Carl Reiner, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Mary Tyler Moore, Ed Asner and Hugh Jackman.
She said she was hoping to be remembered not for her illustrious entertainment career, but for her devotion to her pet animals.
With a career spanning seven decades, she is best known to modern audiences for her television roles as Sue Ann Nivens on the Mary Tyler Moore Show and Rose Nylund on The Golden Girls.
