Beverly Hills Real Estate: Ricky Martin Drops $13.5M On Mansion

Ricky Martin recently purchased a $13.5 million mansion in swanky Beverly Hills. Now engaged to fiancé Jwan Yosef, the Puerto Rican pop star chose an 11,300-square-foot property featuring seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms.

According to Trulia, the home was fully redesigned in 2016. It boasts 14-foot ceilings, a pair with custom wood sliding doors, a chef’s kitchen with marble and Caesarstone countertops and Sub-Zero appliances, and a master suite with a large, three-sided, floating fireplace wall and sleek dual bathrooms that open out to a Zen courtyard. The tiered movie theater with an adjacent bar/lounge and an 800-bottle air-conditioned wine cellar add to the home's outstanding luxury feel.

Outside, the 33,000-square-foot lot includes several seating areas, a crystal-clear 40-foot infinity swimming pool and spa, and a picturesque backyard with mature, lush trees. The estate is a private getaway in the middle of the city. There is also parking available for nine cars and a 2,000-square-foot secluded wellness center.

Certainly in good company, Sandra Bullock bought a $16 million property down the street in 2011. Not new to the area, Martin actually lived in Beverly Hills until 2006 when he sold his previous property for $15 million.

Martin also owns a place on New York City's swanky Upper East Side and just listed it at $8.4 million. He bought the four-bedroom, 4 1/2-bathroom space in 2012 for $5.9 million.
