The Ides of March is here and you should beware.

But in case you're not afraid, you may want to read the play by William Shakespeare that immortalized Julius Caesar with the phrase, Beware the Ides of March, when the saying was first uttered in 1599 in the first play. The phrase is said by a soothsayer warning Caesar about his imminent death days later on March 15.

However, the ides of March is technically on March 8, not March 15, as it is based on the full moon, which was seven days ago.
