50 shades of grey
A teaser for the "Fifty Shades of Grey" trailer was released by Beyoncé. The adaptation of the 2011 E.L. James book hits theaters on February 13, 2015. Universal

When Beyoncé teased her nearly 14 million followers on Instagram Saturday night about "Fifty Shades of Grey," many of them began to wonder if the singer would appear in the film.

The singer, who has done acting gigs in the past, is not seen in the teaser trailer. Instead, a slower, sexier version of her “uh-ohs” from her 2003 hit song “Crazy In Love” can be heard at the end.

Though her post had received more than 375,000 likes by Sunday night, it’s unknown if Queen Bey will be on the soundtrack or make a cameo in the film. Rita Ora, who plays Christian’s sister Mia, will be on the soundtrack, something that has people talking since Ora is signed to Jay Z’s Roc Nation label.

Fans of “Fifty Shades of Grey,” the trilogy by New York Times best-selling author E.L. James, have clamored for every piece of information about the film they could get their hands on. The film was originally supposed to be released in August 2014, but was pushed back to Feb. 14, 2015, after Jamie Dornan took over for Charlie Hunnam.

The “Sons of Anarchy” star backed out of the Christian Grey role before the movie was scheduled to begin filming, reportedly afraid he would be typecast if he followed through with the character.

Some have said the “Fifty Shades” movie will be a disaster, and Fishwrapper wrote not even Queen Bey could make the raunchy film better.

But the chatter is more about whether or not the “Drunk In Love” singer will appear in the highly anticipated film as a cameo, or if her famous vocals will be featured on the “Fifty Shades” soundtrack.
