Beyonce is a mommy. After weeks of speculation, the singer finally gave birth to a baby girl named Blue Ivy Carter in New York City on Saturday.

Beyonce reportedly delivered Blue Ivy Carter via C-section and TMZ reported that Jay-Z, whose real name Shawn Carter, was present for his baby girl's birth.

News of Beyonce's delivery has since taken the Internet by storm with Twitter going crazy. Several of the stars' friend have sent their well wishes to the first-time parents. Beyonce announced her pregnancy in August.

It is reported that the name Ivy Blue has a meaning. IV is the roman numeral for the number 4, which is Beyonce's favorite number. The number holds many special meaning for the new mom, as she was born on Sept. 4, 1981; got married on April 4, 2008 and she got the chnace to sing for Barack Obama, the 44th president of the United States.

Twitter rumors are that blue is Jay-Z's favorite color.
