After three exciting months, Beyoncé and Jay Z’s “On the Run” tour came to an end on Saturday in Paris at the Stade de France. The power couple's music tour topped $100 million in ticket sales, reports Billboard. HBO will air its “Beyoncé and Jay Z’s 'On the Run Tour’" special on Sept. 20. Until then, take a look at some of the highlights from their last two shows in Paris.
Beyoncé's New Outfit
The power couple ended the show with a bang, as Beyoncé showed off a sexy new outfit adorned with Swarovski crystals.
The audience in Paris could not contain their excitement when Nicki Minaj stepped out onstage wearing a Versace jumpsuit and shoes, to join Bey for a "Flawless" remix. She later thanked Beyoncé, writing on Instagram, "Tonight was their last show, which made it even more special. Honored to have experienced this with two ppl who've influenced me more than they'll ever know. Thank you BEY&JAY :) [sic]"
Beyoncé and Jay Z's Love
The main draw was the interaction between Jay Z and his 33-year-old wife. The two complimented each other as they left the stage. “I’m your biggest fan. I love you so much. Give it up for Mr. Carter!” a teary-eyed Beyoncé told her husband.
“I wanna say it’s been an honor and a pleasure sharing the stage with you. I couldn’t dream for anything else to be in a stadium with the woman I love, who I believe is the greatest entertainer of our time. Make some noise for Beyoncé!” replied Jay Z.
This special moment was even sweeter considering the two have been battling divorce rumors since May. In addition to acknowledging their love for one another, Jay Z gave another reason why it was so meaningful for them to end their "OTR" tour in Paris.
“We love Paris. It’s special to us because we got engaged here and this is where baby Blue was conceived,” he told the crowd, according to the Associated Press. During the Paris tour, Jay Z also hinted that Blue Ivy may have a sibling soon. During their Friday show, Jay Z changed the lyrics of his song “Beach Is Better,” rapping, “'Cause she pregnant with another one.”
