The Louvre in Paris is home to many of the most famous works of art in the world, but a recent picture of Beyoncé and Jay-Z with the “Mona Lisa” at the museum calls into question the value of the famous Da Vinci painting compared to the world’s biggest celebrity couple?

Jay-Z and Beyoncé, who recently finished their "On the Run" tour, paid a visit to the Louvre over the weekend with daughter Blue Ivy and snapped a picture of themselves in front of the famous “Mona Lisa.” The picture can be seen below via Instagram:

In a picture with so much star power, who is actually worth more? Guinness World Records lists the “Mona Lisa” as the most expensive insurance valuation of any work of art, and the Louvre purchased a $100 million insurance policy on the painting in 1962. Adjusted for inflation, that makes the painting worth over $787 million today.

That’s pretty pricey, but the celebrity couple has them beat. Combining their individual fortunes of $560 million (Jay-Z) and $450 million (Beyoncé), the couple is worth just over a billion dollars. That means the modern- day couple is worth more than the famous woman they are admiring.

Jay-Z and Beyoncé certainly utilized their wealth during their trip to the museum. The couple reportedly paid to staff the whole museum for a whole day so it could close for a private tour for the family. They were also allowed some special privileges such as getting closer to some of the famous art (including the “Mona Lisa”) than tourists are typically allowed to do.

Monetary value aside, the “Mona Lisa” picture proves pretty emblematic of the celebrity couple’s star power right now. Who knows if the picture itself will be worth anything down the road?
