This is the first time Beyoncé has been seen playing an instrument.
The usually private star has been taking to her site to post pictures, which may be hinting at the new music she is expected to debut this year.
Just last month, Beyoncé channeled the iconic Michael Jackson on her Instagram account.
Wearing leather black pants, a black blazer, shirt and hat, Beyoncé grabs her crotch in one photo while throwing one arm in the air, a signature Jackson pose, sparking speculation that her upcoming songs may be inspired by the late artist.
Music producer and recording artist the Dream discussed Beyoncé's latest project.
"She's got her stuff going. She took the summer to start recording, and now she's in a place where she's ready to start gearing up to reveal her plan. She's already gearing up to get ready to put stuff out,” he said in a statement.
This new music will be the first since the birth of her baby girl, Blue Ivy, and her last studio album, "4," which was released last year.
In addition to performing at the Super Bowl, Beyoncé is also set to perform at the 2013 Presidential Inauguration on Jan. 21, alongside artists such as Kelly Clarkson and James Taylor.
The superstar also sang for President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama at their first dance at the 2009 Neighborhood Inaugural Ball. She sang a rendition of Etta James classic "At Last.”
