Born as Beyonce Giselle Knowles, the pop diva is accustomed to atypical names. Even her husband's name was Shawn Corey Carter when he was born, but later he became famous as Jay-Z. Considering this, the couple going for a unique name for their baby shouldn't come as a big surprise.
However, it seems that people are finding the name a bit odd, and resulting out of that are the growing rumors that the name Blue Ivy has its roots in Illuminati and Satanism.
As soon as the news of Beyonce's daughter broke out on Jan. 8, the topic Eulb Yvi is Latin for Lucifer's daughter, spread like wildfire on Twitter. It suggests that Blue Ivy is originated from Eulb Yvi, which means Lucifer's daughter in Latin.
There were other suggestions too - Blue stands for Born Living Under Evil and Ivy stands for Illuminati's Very Youngest. Although it's unclear as to why people think so, there are reports that it's because Jay-Z is rumored to be a part of the Illuminati for some time now.
However, Jay-Z has denied being in the Illuminati. It may sound a little arrogant, but I just think people can't handle when somebody else is successful. Something has gotta be wrong; you gotta be down with some higher power. And I guess when someone else is successful, it makes you feel like maybe you're a failure. So it can't be you, it has to be some other force, the hip hop artist responded to the Delta Airlines Sky magazine, who brought up the topic recently.
IVY =Illuminati's Very Youngest. Eulb Yvi (her name backwards) is Lucifer's daughter's name in Latin, Twitter user Rai Mitha posted.
Jay-Z & Beyonce named their daughter Ivy Blue, Ivy Blue = Eulb Yvi, which was the name of lucifer's daughter in latin! another Twitter user posted on Sunday.
Is there any truth behind these rumors? Is Beyonce's daughter Illuminati's Very Youngest? Is she the daughter of Satan? Well, these are nothing but a bunch of insane rumors from people who may not be all that fond of Beyonce and Jay-Z.
Examiner.com has come up with a detailed report with reference to the Bible, saying there is no mention in the Bible that Lucifer had a daughter. There is also great controversy as to whether angels are capable of having sex. Since Lucifer is a fallen angel, he would fall under the category of an angel in terms of reproduction, the report said.
There is a belief that the Bible teaches that angels cannot reproduce. However, no specific evidence of this has been found in the Scripture yet. The report explained:
Luke 20: 34-36 describes an encounter where Jesus was asked who a specific woman would be married to after the resurrection. Jesus compared resurrected humans to angels that 'neither marry, nor are given in marriage.' Some theologians interpret this to mean that angels do not have sexual relations.
Though the Bible doesn't explicitly say if angels possess the capability of reproduction, there is no mention in the Scripture either of Lucifer having a daughter.
As for the claim that Eulb Yvi means Lucifer's daughter in Latin, there is no indication that these words have any Latin meaning. As per Google Translate, Daughter in Latin is Filia and Lucifer is Latin for Morning Star. So how is Eulb Yvi Lucifer's daughter?
Since the number 4 has had a great impact on both Beyonce and Jay-Z's life, various reports suggested that the I and V in Ivy may refer to the Roman numeral IV, meaning 4. The couple got married on April 4, 2008 (4/4/08), Jay-Z was born on Dec. 4, 1969, and Beyonce was born on Sept. 4, 1981. Beyonce even named her fourth studio album 4.
What about Blue? Well it's Jay-Z's favorite color. He called his sixth studio album Blueprint. Thus, the baby girl gets the touch of the favorites of her mom and dad - Blue Ivy Carter.
