Like, OMG.

All that New York City wanted for Christmas was Justin Bieber, but, it looks like dreams won't come true this holiday season. Contrary to what several media outlets had been led to believe, including IBTimes, Justin Bieber will not be making an appearance at Rockefeller Center.

It's taped, an event organizer told DNA Info. The news has been a devastating blow to Beliebers around the city, including Twitter user @Petstarr, who wrote LAME!! in response to the news.

Adults will be having all the fun at this year's ceremony: Faith Hill, The Radio City Rockettes, Cee-Lo Green and Michael Buble will be live in attendance during the tree lighting. President Barack Obama is still scheduled to arrive just two hours before the ceremony to kick off a series of fundraising events.

The rumors began after a Gridlock Sam Schwartz reported that Bieber and Obama would be descending onto Manhattan on the same day, causing what he expected to be the perfect storm for traffic. Insanity is just the tip of the iceberg in describing how bad traffic will be, said Sam. Although Bieber won't be gracing New York with his slick dance moves and stylish hair, there's still plenty of other reasons to expect driving delays.
