“The Big Bang Theory” Season 10, episode 3 just proved that even Sheldon (Jim Parsons) can crack under extreme pressure.

In “The Dependence Transcendence,” Sheldon, Howard (Simon Helberg) and Leonard (Jonny Galecki) pulled a series of all-nighters in an attempt to complete their latest invention, which will be used by the Air Force. However, Sheldon had a difficult time adjusting to their schedule, even though he was the one who organized it. Due to his lack of sleep, Sheldon hallucinated that he saw a superhero character. He also fell asleep in front of the vendo machine and on Leonard’s chest. In the end, the trio decided to tell the Air Force representative that they cannot complete the project within the designated timeframe. To their surprise, the officer just took things in stride.

Meanwhile, Raj (Kunal Nayyar) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) had an interesting conversation about her worries as a new mother. Now that Bernadette’s baby bump has started to show, she has become more agitated about bringing a baby into the world. Luckily, Raj’s dad helped her calm down. “Some people are baby people. Some people are not baby people. Doesn’t mean you won’t love your own baby. Being excited isn’t a guarantee of anything,” he told her. The emotional conversation between the two characters ended with Raj’s father joking that he wants Bernadette’s baby to be a girl.

Elsewhere, Amy (Mayim Bialik) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) had a hilarious realization of their own. Not only did Amy find out that her peers at Caltech University consider her cool, but she also discovered that they see her as someone who is on the same level as Penny. The duo didn’t really have any scenes with their respective partners because the guys were busy with their Air Force project.

“The Big Bang Theory” Season 10 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
