“The Big Bang Theory” star Kaley Cuoco recently showed support for the Stand Up for Pits Foundation.

On her Instagram account, the actress revealed that she hosted an event for the organization. In one of her photos, Cuoco could be seen carrying an adorable black Pit bull Todd. “Todd the pit is not impressed in this photo,” she joked before using the hashtag “don’t bully my breed.” In another snap, Cuoco introduced a Pit bull named Sterling who was abused. “He is 100% healthy now, happy, adorable, hilarious and deserves an amazing home,” she wrote. Cuoco also showed off her white t-shirt which she wore exclusively for the event. On the shirt is a photo of a Pit bull named Angel.

Stand Up for Pits Foundation discourages discrimination and abuse of Pit bulls, as well as other types of four-legged creatures. Throughout the past couple of years, the foundation has been tapping Cuoco to host the Stand Up for Pit live event. “We all thank you Kaley, for doing what you can to make communities safer for humans and pets…” Rebecca Corry, the founder, wrote. She was inspired to start the foundation after adopting her dog, Angel, who was terribly abused by other humans.

“Because of Angel, I live a purpose filled life. She is a gift and light in this world. I love her so much, it hurts and I’m honored to be owned by her,” Corry wrote.

Meanwhile, when Angel passed away earlier this year, Cuoco made it a point to pay tribute to her, according to Metro UK. “Rest in peace, Angel. My heart is so heavy right now. This dog was more human and true than any of us,” she wrote alongside a collage of herself with the dog.
