After participating in an endurance competition, Paul was crowned as the first round’s winner, according to Big Brother Network. Josh and Christmas will be facing off with each other in round two, and whoever wins will be competing against Paul. After the three rounds of competition are completed, the houseguest that will become Head of Household (HOH) will automatically advance to the final two. This means that regardless if he or she will win, he or she will bring home $50,000.

Last season, the returning vet made it to final two, but did not bring home the grand prize. This is why Paul has vowed to do everything in his power to become Season 19’s winner. Unfortunately, some of the houseguests in the jury house don’t have any plans to vote for him. For instance, Cody Nickson, Elena Davies, Mark Jansen and Jason Dent voiced their concerns about Paul’s game play.

On the other hand, Alex Ow, Matt Clines and Raven Walton all think that Paul deserves to win. Even the most recent evictee, Kevin Schlehuber, told Entertainment Weekly that he wanted to sit in the final two with him. Paul may have played majority of the houseguests, but some of them think that from a game perspective, he is most deserving of the grand prize.

Meanwhile, the “Big Brother” Season 19 finale will air on Wednesday at 8 p.m. All of the houseguests in the jury house will return to the live show. They will be casting their votes for Paul, Christmas or Josh. Paul plans on taking Christmas with him, and she will also do the same. But if Josh wins HOH, he will take Christmas to the final two and send Paul home.

“Big Brother” Season 19 will return to CBS on Sunday at 8 p.m. EDT. A special memory lane episode aired on Friday night.
