Two arrests have been made and another previously unreported injury has emerged since the video of bikers attacking a sport utility vehicle in New York City went viral after it was posted on YouTube Sunday.

The video contained footage of a large group of bikers, riding together on Sunday as part of an annual meetup and rally called the Hollywood Block Party. The event was reportedly arranged by a group called Hollywood Stuntz.

The bikers are seen in the video riding up the Henry Hudson Parkway (aka West Side Highway), when one of them slows down at the 23-second mark, appearing to have collided with a Range Rover. The bikers stop for a moment, and the SUV suddenly is seen running over several motorcycles before veering off further into the highway. The bikers were then seen in the footage chasing after the SUV, finally catching up to it when it was caught in traffic. The video ends just as the bikers are seen smashing in the windows of the SUV.

The driver of the SUV, 33-year-old Alexian Lien, was then taken out of the vehicle and beaten by a couple of the bikers seen on the video, according to witnesses.

A photo of the incident’s aftermath emerged soon after the video of the incident went viral.

Two days later, one of the bikers involved in the incident was arrested and another voluntarily surrendered to the New York City Police Department.

Christopher Cruz, 28, was arrested on Tuesday morning and has been charged with reckless endangerment, endangering the welfare of a child, menacing and reckless driving, according to CBS New York.

Allen Edwards, a 42-year-old man from Queens, surrendered on Tuesday to the NYPD after a photo of him was released, according to the New York Daily News. He was charged with reckless endangerment, menacing and criminal mischief.

Lien was reportedly accompanied by his wife and 2-year-old child when the incident captured on camera occurred. After the attack, he was brought to Columbia University Medical Center for treatment and stitches.

While initial reports were that no other injuries reported, it emerged on Tuesday that one biker was run over and severely injured as Lien plowed through the group of motorcyclists in front of his vehicle.

The biker, Jeremiah Edwin Mieses, an aspiring rapper from outside Boston who also goes by "Jay Meezee," was in a medically induced coma on Tuesday with internal injuries and crushed legs as a result of being run over by Lien’s SUV, according to several reports.

“They crushed his spine — broke it in two different places — so he will be forever, forever paralyzed,” his wife, Dayana Mejia-Meises, told CBS Boston.

Mejia-Mieses told CBS Boston that her husband got off his bike to help his friend after the collision, when Lien suddenly pulled off, running him over.

A Facebook page named "Justice for Jay Meezee" was set up in support of "Jay Meezee" Mieses.

However, records show that Mieses never had a valid driver's license nor motorcycle license.

In June, the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles notified the National Driver Register that Mieses' right to drive in the state was revoked until 2017 for habitual traffic offenses, according to a Boston Globe report.

While two bikers involved in the incident have been charged, Police Commissioner Ray Kelly hasn’t ruled out pressing charges on Lien as well.

“You have to look at the totality of the circumstances, and that’s what we’re doing,” Kelly said.

The incident is currently under investigation by the NYPD.
