Although she has been inactive on social media lately, Billie Lourd took to Instagram to post a sweet picture of herself and late mother Carrie Fisher.

On Wednesday night, the 24-year-old actress shared an old photo of herself and mother seated in the back of a car. In the photo, a young Lourd is pictured smiling while wearing what looks to be bunny ears as Fisher’s head is placed near the child while smiling just as bright.

“If my life weren’t funny then it would just be true and that is unacceptable,” Lourd wrote quoting her mother. However, instead of crediting the quote by simply spelling out her mother’s name, the “Scream Queens” star wrote the late actress’ name out by using emojis, something Fisher frequently did on her Twitter account.

While still mourning the loss of her mother, the actress revealed that she is optimistic about her future. “Finding the funny might take a while but I learned from the best and her voice will forever be in my head and in my heart,” she wrote.

Lourd continues to receive support on Instagram after losing her mother and grandmother in December. After posting the throwback photo of herself and her mother, not only did the star receive well wishes from fans, but actress Selma Blair also commented on the picture.

“I love you from afar and am thinking of you daily,” the actress wrote.

Fisher died at age 60 on Dec. 27, 2016 from cardiac arrest after suffering from a heart attack while on a flight from London to Los Angeles. A day later, the actress’ mother and Lourd’s grandmother, Debbie Reynolds, died from a stroke at age 84. The two were laid to rest with one another in a crypt inside Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills in Los Angeles.
