Microsoft has slashed the price of the Xbox One ahead of the Black Friday sales. The company has cut the price of the gaming console by $50 over the weekend period. That means Microsoft stores will be offering a $299 Xbox One starting price, the lowest price so far.

There are discounts across bundles across the board. Microsoft has brought savings on Xbox One to all 12 different collections. The "Forza Motorsport 6" and "Madden NFL 16" bundles are nearly sold out, however.

Halo fans will want to get their hands on the "Halo 5: Guardians" Limited Edition Xbox One bundle. Other bundled games on offer include "Fallout 4," "The Lego Movie Game," "Rise of the Tomb Raider," "FIFA 16" and "Gears of War: Ultimate Edition."

For those less interested in getting a free game, special Xbox One hardware bundles are on offer, including the Xbox One with Kinect, Xbox One Elite and Xbox One 1TB bundle. The last one is also available with "FIFA 16." These are the best Xbox One prices Microsoft has offered so far, making this a deal hard to pass up.

The company has made a big push to make the Xbox One an ideal holiday gift. Microsoft recently made one of the biggest changes to the Xbox One since its launch. The new Xbox One software update means new consoles will run modified Windows 10, making it run faster than ever before.
