Blacklist
What is Liz (Megan Boone, right) hiding from Red (James Spader, left) in "The Blacklist" episode 6? NBC

As “The Blacklist” gets further into its second season, the NBC series seems to revolving around two big secrets, one of Red’s (James Spader) and one of Liz’s (Megan Boone). In episode 5, viewers got a big tease when the mystery girl that Red had been searching for was finally shown, though her identity is yet to be revealed. Meanwhile, Liz snuck off to a hideout where she is keeping some secret locked behind a guarded door. In episode 6, which airs Monday, fans will finally get some answers.

TV Line has already reported the sparse details that have been released about Red’s mystery girl. The character’s name will be Zoe D’Antonio and will be played Scottie Thompson (“NCIS”). D’Antonio will be a key to Red’s past and he has said before on the show that she is vital in his war with Berlin (Peter Stormare).

Who is Zoe D’Antonio? She could be Red’s daughter, Jennifer, under an alias. While Red has alluded to Jennifer, she has never appeared in the show, so the possibility exists that Zoe and Jennifer are one and the same. Then again, maybe she is Naomi’s (Mary Louise-Parker) daughter. Granted, those two theories are not mutually exclusive, as Naomi is Red’s ex-wife, but it is also possible that Zoe is Naomi’s daughter and is also in hiding (hence the name change). Red could potentially want to protect her from Berlin as well (it would not be the first time Red protected Naomi against her will). If Zoe is indeed Red’s daughter then the possibility also exists (if the most popular fan theory about “The Blacklist” is true) that Zoe is Liz’s sister.

Meanwhile, the promo for the episode reveals that viewers will finally see behind Liz’s secret door. What is she hiding? The prevailing theory is that it could be her husband, Tom Keen (Ryan Eggold). In the Season 1 finale, Tom was shot by Liz after he was revealed to be a double agent. Liz asked Red to be left alone to finish him off after saying goodbye. Liz later met back up with Red, but when the FBI got to the scene Tom’s body was gone. Did she move him to keep him captive?

Episode 6 of "The Blacklist" should be an exciting one as the two big secrets are revealed. Is Liz hiding Tom or something worse? Who is Red’s mystery girl? Fans will have to tune in to find out. Episode 6 of “The Blacklist” airs Monday, Oct. 27, at 10 p.m. EDT on NBC.
